At what IT-level do you find youself? In general we distinguish between 3 levels of IT-knowledge: The beginners that barely have recieved any instructions or have experience with computers. These have no skills BUT also have no bad habits or expectations how it used to be. They can improve very fast due to an open mind and quickly pass the middle level users over (consequently they may take over their IT-jobs).
The middle level are skilled users or professionals with outdated experiences that habit to work in a certain way. They are unable to change their working routines and so stagnate in their knowledge development. Also because of their fixed choice of a closed source operative system with useless error-codes and unpredicted collapse, they are often more badly off than the beginners. They have only re-installation as their solution, leaving them idle with no knowledge of what went wrong and how to really solve the actual problem.  And finally, we find skilled but especially open-minded users and updated professionals who have tried more operative systems and so remain the capability to keep their "freedom to choice" as the open source spokesmen say.  For the technical impatient users - here is the shortcut to our IT-support.

   1. The ideas of our *present project is to help :

• more people of low-tech areas to obtain information - by giving them access to computers and computer-training.
• a more efficient use of Information Technology (IT) - by education & self-reliant training.
• with support and give remote technical guidelines to the local network on-line.
• show off the safe, optimized and specialized computers to local decision makers and partners.
• a better association between IT and environmental resources.

    2. The ideas put into practice. For that we :

• Collect and distribute pre-installed example computers and embedded equipment from Denmark to low-tech areas starting in the Yunnan province of China followed by forwarding local renovated equipment to schools & low-tech companies.
• Educate & Establish networking around local IT-users to do further installment and development themselves in cooperation with universities and companies
• Offer IT-support online for install, rescue and optimization of computers.
• Present and promote the renovated and new computers with high-tech facilities in presentable rooms. That is the OS-Experimentarium.
• Extend the efficient life-time and reduce energy-consumption of computers to decrease pollution.
